# 1 Callaway C 7 GT3-R Corvette back in the hunt - 2nd in each race at Autodrom MOST in Czech Republic

Preparation pays off as the # 1 started both races on the first row.

Starting up front also avoids crashes that seem to happen further back in the pack. (check out video Saturday race)

A well-timed pit-stop allowed the # 1 to regain 2nd place on Sunday.

While the # 1 Corvette never threatened the winners # 26 BMW and # 47 AMG, hot temperatures meant conserve tyres to secure needed points in the in the ultra-competitive ADAC-GT Masters Series.

Sven Barth and Claudia Hertgens in the # 13 RWT C7 GT3-R won the Pirelli Trophy class coming from 13th to finish 8th and running very strong by race end on Saturday.

Autodrom MOST, opened in 1947, is the country’s oldest permanent road race circuit and has been continually upgraded to comply with safety standards of today. Situated in the northwest part of the Czech Republic, it serves fans and teams from across Europe.

2018 ADAC-GT series sponsor Kfzteile 24 is a leading auto parts chain much like NAPA and Auto Zone here in the US.
