#4 Paul Fix wins at NJMP as Corvettes take 9 of top 10 spots
On a hot and windy day in South Jersey # 23 Amy Ruman and # 4, 50 Paul Fix had separated themselves from the pack. With just 2 laps to go, Fix found an opening down the long fast straight approaching turn 1.
Ruman, points leader and 2015 Trans Am Champ was held up by traffic which put Fix in front for his first win of the season.
Joining Fix and Ruman on the podium was pole sitter Cliff Ebben in the # 36 Stumpf Ford Mustang.
Corvette stalwarts # 57 David Pintaric were 4th, # 03 Jim MacAleese 5th and # 59 Simon Gregg 6th.
# 75 Chas Wicht, # 7 Claudio Burtin and # 82 Joseph Freda finished 7th, 8th & 9th.
Victory in TA3 and 10th overall went to # 32 Andrew Aquilante in the Phoenix/Hawk/Penske Corvette over # 0 Randy Mueller in the Bizbloom.com BMW M3.

#06 RJ Lopez diced with Paul Fix to win the Motor City (non points) race on the Belle Isle street circuit
Trans Am chief John Claggett hopes to schedule an official points race in Detroit next year to share the spotlight with the Indy Cars and the USCR Continental Series crowds.
The late invitation gave little time to prepare. Some like Claudio Burtin re-furbished their backup car.
