Larbre Team notches another podium finish at Spa 6 hour race

Pierre Ragues drove the final stint in the # 50 Corvette finishing 3rd in the WEC LM GTE Am class at the Spa Francorchamps circuit.

Late in the race Stefan Meucke in the # 66 Ford GT LM GTE Pro suffered a heavy crash that brought out the safety car.  The final order was set with little remaining time to go.

The team executed well to score another podium finish ahead of the # 78, # 86 & # 88 Porsche 911 RSRs driven respectively by Wolf Henzler, James Carroll and Patrick Long.

Now it’s time to prepare for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 18/19.

Veteran Team manager Jack Leconte oversees preparation of the car, drivers and crew to perform like they did at Spa plus racing luck or course.

The Pratt & Miller team led by Doug Fehan is known to inspire and will be on hand.

Corvette race results compiled by Wayne Ellwood.

Attrition was unusually high among the exotic cars in the P1 class.  The Hybrid Porsches, Audis and Toyotas all made trips to the garage during the race.  The Audi R18 of Oliver Jarvis, Lucas Di Grassi & Loic Duval prevailed at the end.
