C7 SCCA T1 # 33 Andrew Aquilante, Phoenix Performance 2016

$0.00

Car built by Phoenix Performance Inc to race in SCCA Club Racing T1.  Firm is headed by racer/tuner Joe Aquilante, leading resource since 1999 for Corvettes built to race in SCCA T1, T2 and GT2 classes.  Under the tutelage of his dad, Andrew Aquilante, learned early how to construct and drive Corvettes, Mustangs, Suburu and other marques at their large shop outside of Philadelphia PA.  SCCA Annual Runoffs is goal of most clientele.

Andrew Aquilante has won several national championships.  The SCCA requires all cars that race in the Touring class to be virtually stock (performance option Z51 for Corvettes) as they left the factory.  The only modifications permitted are for safety such as roll cage, interior, fuel cell, fire suppression, etc.  Phoenix has gained a reputation nonetheless for car set up, handling and maintenance within the envelope of these rules.  Many of their cars sport a distinctive livery.  Link to specs for T1 Corvettes.

New life upon conversion to GT2 for 2019 Runoffs winner at VIR.
