USCR Corvette Race Car Season
Race by Race & 2015 Preview

Joao Barboza & Christian Fittipaldi driving for Action Express win inaugural USCR P Class Championship and the 4 race enduro Championship.  The # 5 car completed every lap of every race.  Pratt & Miller Corvette racing team wins 4 mid-season races in a row only to lose GTLM championship to Viper team that then disbands.  Corvette Racing does its typical great job developing the new C7.R all season long.  Some bad “racing luck” at the Petit Le Mans finale blew the chance to win out over the Team Italia Ferrari 458.  Serious fans complain to IMSA organizers, cry foul about re-setting the “Balance of Performance” rules race by race and not disclosing them sufficiently in advance.

2015 Preview

Whelen Teams up with Action Express for a better DP outcome next year, retains Eric Curran, hires Dane Cameron, GTD winner in a BMW.

DP car performance will be cut back because the IMSA rules people failed to do their homework putting the LM Prototype cars at a disadvantage, particularly regaining speed after encountering slower traffic.
