Chris Dyson from nearby Poughkeepsie won vs 2018 Champ Ernie Francis Jr from FL, both in Mustangs, the featured marque of the weekend.
Fans took in 4 days (May 24-27) including the Trans Am Series, SVRA vintage racing and a Sunday car show vs typically 2 days over the Memorial Day weekend at Lime Rock.
Tony Parella’s formula for Trans Am racing is fortified with SVRA satellite events vs the better-known traditional Lime Rock Historics, the Mitty at Road Atlanta and the RMMR at Laguna Seca.
# 4 Ray Zisa was the class of SVRA group 12.
# 55 Bill Schwacke outperformed in group 1,2,3,4 shown here leading Dave Nicholas MGA.
# 77 Dick Payne survived thanks to expert repairs to damage inflicted by a Porsche.
