# 6 Shane Lewis top Corvette finisher 3rd as # 98 Ernie Francis Jr Mustang wins again on his way to the championship

The late addition of Shane Lewis in the # 6 Corvette paid off for Derhaag Motorsports with a 3rd place finish. 

Lewis competing full time in TA2 made his first TA class start filling in for Cameron Lawrence who had to sit out resulting from a heavy hit in practice.

# 23 Amy Ruman, defending 2-time champ swapped positions with Lewis and finished 4th by a good margin over # 59 Simon Gregg.

Vinnie Allegretta serving notice as this year’s top scoring Corvette driver settled for 7th, consoled by the Pitboxes.com Crew of the Race award for efforts to repair the # 41 Corvette following a collision in practice. 

Kerry Hitt, Advanced Composite Products (ACP) received the PitBoxes.com Crew Chief of the Race in an honorary capacity for helping Vinnie with repairs.

Young phenom # 98 Ernie Francis Jr won by 19 seconds in his ACP bodied Mustang on his way to the championship.
