Randy Kinsland in his Corvette won TA3 over # 46 & # 94 Porsche 997s of Mark Boden & Ramin Abdolvahabi. That earned Kinsland Racing the Pitboxes.com Crew of the Race award with Marty Cathey receiving the Traq Gear Crew Chief award.
# 7 Claudio Burtin, # 59 Simon Gregg and # 57 David Pintaric (Caddy formerly Corvette) finished in the top 5.
About halfway through, # 8 Tomy Drissi contends he got hit sending him into the gravel trap on the outside of turn 6. A swarm of corner workers arrived to push him out. Per unconfirmed reports, he spun the tires, throwing stones requiring medical attention for one person.
The organizers red-flagged the race to remove his stranded car and as a consequence decided not to score him based on “unjustifiable risk with safety team involvement”.
