As rumored, Corvette racing team manager Doug Fehan received the Spirit of Le Mans Awardfrom the Automobile Club de l’Oest for his leadership and marketing and communication skills during a time when the technical demands of racing are multiplying. Some have observed “you can learn from Doug in 5 minutes what can take an hour from others”. 2014 marks the 15th year Fehan has managed the Corvette racing team, most likely a motorsports record. Virtually all the Le Mans teams look to Doug Fehan for leadership, inspiration and advice and of course none has benefited more than the Corvette team.
